KitchenAid 25in KSRJ25CNST00 icemaker trouble. The LED light on side of freezer is blinking twice with a delay and repeats same sequence. No ice is making. Any suggestions on what to look for?

Try the reset button on the control panel. If that doesn't work, then try unpluging the refrigerator.
Also, make sure that ice tray shut off arm isn't in the up position. It should be in the unlock position one notch below the off position. This arm is used by the refrigerator from over filling the ice cube holding tray. Once the ice fills the tray. The ice in the bend will push up on the arm which
initiate the ice maker to stop making ice. As soon as you start using the ice in the bend and the arm falls below the off position. The ice maker will start making ice. GB....stewbison

Ice maker will not make ice. Red light blinks

I have a kitchenaid with the same problem. Red light blinks twice when open is normal. Hold the flap down and the red light will be on.= normal= optics are working. If the ice rakes rotate, module is probably fine. Check the simplest solutions first, defrost the freezer in case the icemaker water nozzel might be frozen. That solved my problem. I then increased my freezer temp by a couple of degrees and so far, no problems.
Good luck.

Ice machine does not make ice

No guide that I know of .

Open the freezer door and see if the laser light on the right side , flashes twice , then pause , repeatedly . Close the flap on the left side , and the laser should stop flashing . If this is what occures , then the optics ( cut off of the icemaker ) are ok . If you open the freezer and no laser on the right , check the position of the "rake" inside the icemaker . Close the freezer door for about 1 min , and then recheck the position of the rake . If it hasn't moved , then the icemaker is bad .
If the light flashes 2 times then pauses , pour about 2/3 cup of water into the icemaker , and check later , to see if the ice maker has dumped the cubes . If did not dump , replace the icemaker . If did dump , and did not fill with water , then the water valve behind the refrig is bad . Also check the black fill tube above the ice maker fill cup , to see if it is iced up , keeping the water from going into the fill cup . If it is frozen , then replace the water valve , due to seeping ( not closing completely ) , causing the slight drip , to freeze inside the tube .
This is the only guide I know of and it's called an experience guide .

Ice maker not working

Pour about 2/3 cup of water into the ice maker . Also , check the black fill hose that fill the ice maker , to make sure it is not frozen . If the ice maker dumps the cubes , then replace the water inlet valve . If the ice maker holds the ice , and does not dump , replace the ice maker . When you open the freezer door , the laser light , should blink twice , then pause ,repeatedly . If you close the flap on the left side , the laser should go off . These are indication that the optics are good . If you open the door , and no laser light , then that means that the ice maker is in the harvest (dump) mode . If it stays this way , ice maker is bad .

KitchenAid Side By Side no ice

check the ice maker, the motor module on these is real bad about the shaft snapping. take out the icemaker and remove the white cover. if you can take the round gear off then the shaft is broken you can probably find the other piece in there if it didnt fall out when you opened it up the module is easy enough to replace make sure the heater on the mold assembly is still good

Optical sensor or valve problem

Your ice maker has an automatic shutoff. The ice maker sensor passes a beam from one freezer wall to the other, automatically stopping ice production when the storage bin is full. When you open the freezer door, you should see a red light on the top right freezer wall. When the freezer door is open or the ice storage bin is removed, the sensor cover or "flipper door" on the left wall of the freezer stops the ice maker from producing ice by blocking this sensor, When the beam is blocked, the red light on the right will blink twice. This is normal operation. as for the blink twice and pause I'm still checking on that. Make sure the water flow is coming from the solenoid valve located on back and bottom of refrigerator to the ice maker. Check the solenoid to see if the magnetic field is pulling the internal plunger open when ice maker ask for water. That can be checked with a multi meter at the wireing going to the solenoid and if the ice optics are telling the tray to fill voltage should be present. Insure that water supply is not restricted before it comes to the solenoid , like a bent line or clogged piercing valve.  Check that an ice cube is not jammed in the ejector arm of the ice maker. Remove jammed ice from the ejector arm using only a plastic utensil so the ice maker is not damaged. Call toll free in USA and a trained consultant will be happy to assist you. 1-866-698-2538
