Do you have a Whirlpool Oven?
If the Whirlpool oven bakes great at 350 degrees, then the problem your having is with the membrane circuitry = The touchpad/keypad on your oven is faulty. The buttons itself is bad.

Sounds like a bad oven control board which is the control you are trying to set.
