SOURCE: I have a Coleman model FL 28-R electric fireplace,

There is a fuse located over the heating element in front of the fan. It sits over a small slot above the heating element (probably to cause it to stop working by design). Yes I'm a pessimist. It can be bypassed if it is an emergency by wiring across it. I'm trying to find the replacement fuse now (10amp jet 250v #00575) If you find it please send info to [email protected]. I hope we all get our heaters working, for $250 + dollars you'd expect it to last longer than 1 month.

Febo flame electric fireplace model number ZHS-32-A has power flame but only heat for a minute or two why. Vacuumed all dust but no change

There could be a few potential issues that could cause your Febo Flame electric fireplace to only produce heat for a minute or two before shutting off. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the fireplace for any debris or obstruction that may be causing the problem. Use a flashlight to inspect the interior of the fireplace and remove any debris you find.
  2. Check the heating element for any damage or wear. If the heating element is damaged or worn, it may need to be replaced.
  3. Check the thermostat to make sure it is functioning properly. The thermostat controls the heating element and can cause the fireplace to shut off if it is not working correctly.
  4. Check the control panel for any loose or damaged components. Tighten any loose components and replace any damaged parts as needed.
  5. Check the power cord and outlet for any damage or loose connections. Make sure the cord is securely plugged into the outlet and that the outlet is functioning properly.

Mobile home electric furnace multiple problems

Hello im not familiar with this model, but looking at the schematic for the models its similar to a heater blower. as you say it is heating up but only blowing cool are but the thermostat is turning off as its getting hot, the only thing i can find that would make it do this is if its blocked on the heater element, or the heater element is only half working, the device has a thermal fuse on the heating element this could also be a problem you would need to remove the try that hold the heater element ands test the heater element with a meter to see if its working if that's fine, then one of the thermal switches would be at fault. there is alot of model number for this brand but they all have the same setup. the panel for the heat looks like it only has 2 screws hold it in place, but disconnect the fuse before opening the unit. there is 2 setting on the heater elements that means there is 2 elements one top and one bottom in the case. there is also 2 thermostats on this model im looking at that are for the heater controls these would when they get to the temp required turn the elements on and off. there is also a thermal fuse that if the element gets to hot with turn it off. check these. remember dont open the unit until the power is off and disconnected from the mains supply . personally i would think the thermostat switches need replacing, these are cheap to replace the part number is on them use the same part number to get the right part ebay or heating suppliers will have these parts in stock, they wear out as they the only moving parts apart from the fan but thats working or you would not have cool air.

It may need repairing, do not take risks trying to fix it without an expert. But its 4 years old so its better to replace it with new.

HI THE 3 INDICATER LIGHTS WERE ALL ON SHOWING THAT THE HEAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON FULL CAPASITY!!BUT THERE WAS NO HEAT BLOWING OUT OF THE GRILL!!

Not an unusual problem with any electric fireplace heater. I suspect the overheat circuit has shut the heating element down. Or the element has burned up (that's not unusual either).

In any event, turn the fireplace OFF and unplug it. Wait 30 minutes before plugging it back in. During that time, the overheat circuit may reset itself. If that fails to solve the problem call The Technical Service Dept of Dimplex USA at 888-346-7539, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. EST. If it ends up needing parts, you can order them at that time.

Have the Model # and Serial # of the fireplace, handy. As you will need to provide that information to them, as well as the date of purchase.
