Hi. I"ve got a brand new elite 5hdi and been on for about 1 hour. does not want to lock in. import it from the states to Mozambique. please help

Hi Pieter

The problem here is that the unit has no idea where it is on the planet.
I think your best bet would be to reset the unit to factory defaults (page 11 of the owner's manual) and THEN use the setup wizard (page 6) to reinitialize the device.
Link to owner's manual provided below in case you or anyone else requires it.

How do I insert a navtronics sim into an Elite- 5HDI ?

If you have an Elite 5x then it is not a combo unit
If it is a combo them the small door about the power button with the model number on it swings open.

A micro SD card goes in there. If your chart is an SD not a micro you will find the micro is in the end of the big car. Pull it out and pop it into the unit.

Belt will not stay on

Those machines have the belts on them at production.

You did not mention the type and the brand of your washing machine. However given bellow are some options you can try.

Whirlpool Duet Dryer - Press and hold the END OF CYCLE SIGNAL button for 3 seconds.
Kenmore Elite Washer - Press and hold the DRAIN/SPIN button for 3 seconds.

In Hoover washing machine try holding down the temperature and eco/rapid options together to turn off child lock. Some series use "TEMP and OPTION" at the same time.

Well a new computer box is USD $1000 bellow. Second hand normally costs around USD $100 up to $400 in Mozambique. It may depend on the Brand of the car you wish to replace the computer box.

I don't quite get your question. If it's brand new (under one year old) and you have allowed it to run for 24 hours and it refuses to freeze, then it is an issue Sears would have to resolve.
Everything on the machine has at least a one year warranty.
Just call them for a warranty call and leave it on and running, so they can see the problem.

you could try updating the drivers.

1. got to hp's website (http://www.hp.com)
2. Click on support and drivers
3. click download drivers and software (and firmware)
4. enter you model number (Pavilion Elite m9400t)
5. select your os (vista 64 bit)
6. download the Fall 2008 Original Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver
7. install the driver.

Hi,
I have done some research for you and can't seem to find anything other then a number to call. I know you said you put a new battery in so please make sure it is making a connection in your phone. I am wondering if there isn't a good connection and maybe this is why it isn't recharging for you. Normally when a battery goes dead it is just a matter of charging it for a few hours and it will be fine. Here is the number to call for service questions.
