SOURCE: my Braun Syncro 7526 pop up trimmer stopped working.

There should have been a little tube of oil in the package when you bought it. the baldes dry out and then won't move. take the oil and run a small amount acrossed the blades. let it sit for a few seconds and then turn it on. once the oil lubes the blades, they should start moving again.

SOURCE: conair beard trimmer: took screw out and can't

After removing the screw you must place your thumb on the battery cover (just below the screw where the 5 raised lines are) and slide the cover downward. The battery in this unit is soldered in. You may have to take it to a repair center to get the battery changed. The battery is a D-Sc type 1600mAh 1.2V. Good luck finding one. I thought the battery in my trimmer was bad after it sat idle for about 8 years. Turns out a little light sewing machine oil on the cutter head made it spring back to life.

Brand new andis trimmer pulling hair and not cutting good

The questions about Andis T-Outliner or Andis Styliner II, about not cutting or pulling hair.
On the Andis T-Outliner trimmer if the sharpness of the blade is worn out, all the tricks and treats won't make this blade to cut hair. Before I do any kind of work to the trimmer, I first test the coil for the right amount power, I can get out of the coil, without this power, it doesn't matter how new or old the trimmer is, the trimmer will not cut hair at all. If the coil is good, I will sharpen the blade and set it according to your needs (lineups or shave setting) after the blade is sharpened and set. The trimmer will need to be, adjusted for alignment to the blade, adjust the power of the coil, and adjust the tension for the blade. All these factors are involved in the Andis T-Outliner to cut hair clean especially lineups or shaving. These adjustments work together for the trimmer to work properly. I know that we all trying to save money, which is part of life, but sometimes frustration will take over and say hell with it, I'll buy another or forget it. Manufactures make mistakes, sometimes the trimmer was not sharpened or adjusted correctly. Any case, what I'm trying to say here, if you try all the tricks & treats and can get your trimmer to work, it may be easier for you to send it to a professional to sharpen & repair the problem and set the blade according to your needs (lineups or shave setting) We specialize on Andis T-Outliner Trimmers. Our complete sharpening & repair service is $19.99 each trimmer, this includes return shipping. Remington mb300 battery replace how

The rechargable nickel-cadmium is hard-wired and not replaceable.

Instructions for removing the battery from the user manual:
1. Make sure your groomer is unplugged from any outlets so you don't risk an electric shock.
2. Remove side panels/grips
3. Remove the 4 housing screws
4. Pull or gently pry the clipper halves apart, exposing the batteries.
5. Remove batteries from the unit.
6. Twist batteries to break wires. Wires may also be cut.

I also own an MB-300. The battery still works good and I loved this trimmer but I need a new cutter blade for mine.
