The manual will give you info on the battery that is inside the trimmer.If you can get to the battery then buy same TYPE or similar to the original---VOLTAGE/CURRENT RATING/CHARGING etc and size, connection

SOURCE: my Braun Syncro 7526 pop up trimmer stopped working.
There should have been a little tube of oil in the package when you bought it. the baldes dry out and then won't move. take the oil and run a small amount acrossed the blades. let it sit for a few seconds and then turn it on. once the oil lubes the blades, they should start moving again.

After removing the screw you must place your thumb on the battery cover (just below the screw where the 5 raised lines are) and slide the cover downward. The battery in this unit is soldered in. You may have to take it to a repair center to get the battery changed. The battery is a D-Sc type 1600mAh 1.2V. Good luck finding one. I thought the battery in my trimmer was bad after it sat idle for about 8 years. Turns out a little light sewing machine oil on the cutter head made it spring back to life.
