Frigidaire Washer/dryer combo

All front loading washers will fill and drain multiple times before it finishes. Unlike a top loader, a front loading washer will take longer to run because there is no agitator and will fill with water and drain multiple times. A front loader is more energy efficient than a Traditional top loading washing machine. A washer dryer combo will take hours to complete a cycle.

From my understanding you are having issues with your Frigidaire laundry center not starting a cycle. You stated that the washer fills with water then locks. check out house breaker and could be heating element problem or thermostat issues ,not enough info for more respond .

The last time I moved, my washer/dryer combo (Frigidaire) had the same issue for approximately 7 months before finding out all I needed to do was level the washer, and of course, make sure the faucet connected to the washer is turned to on position. Hope this is helpful.

Possible damage on the program control panel as it is most likely to be damaged due to a power outage. remove panel and check to confirm if the board is burnt or damaged

sounds like rear tub bearing on dryer ,,,,,,washer needs new lid switch

Possibly the timer. next time it wont stop filling turn off the washer. if it still fills you have a water valve issue. Hope for the valve. Timers are big bucks.

gabehart....sounds like belt is slipping. Replace it. The water pump is on a separate smaller motor so is not affected by the agitator/spin motor.

hi thanks for the question it looks like a problem with the transmission but only if afer the water fills the tub the motor starts running if te motor docent start after its full look for a timer problem . so if motor runs on wash cycle and no spin transmission problem thanks the appliance doc please rate me.

Check the lid switch. Some units use a safety lock out. If it is not working then the unit will not drain or spin.
