How do I hook up the two batteries in a Vector 190 sport spotlight. I need to see a wiring diagram for the battery connections.

I removed the 2 batteries AND there is a jumper to connect to the second battery I do not know how this conntects to the main leads then to the second battery.

Quick look at the manual tells me that it is a 12v light, powered by two 6 volt batteries. This means that they must be connected in series. Identify the positive and negative terminals on each battery. You also need to look at how the power is supplied to the unit - i.e., are the batteries connected front to back? The jumper of one battery will connect to the negative terminal to the positive terminal of the second battery (this is a series configuration.) Make sure the batteries are oriented in the proper position in the unit before sealing it up.

The manual can be downloaded from here: http://www.manualslib.com/manual/185814/Vector-Sport-Spot-Vec190pob.html#manual

I have a vector 1 mil candlepower sport spotlight haven't charged it in a while, and doesn't seem to want to charge.Does this mean the battery pack is bad?

Unfortunately the batteries lose their ability to charge when not used for an extended period of time. The light is very simple to dismantle by removing the black rubber ring that holds the lens on and then removing the screws. I believe the following battery may be the replacement you need.

My Vector Flash light is not working, I have tried to fix localy in Santa Barbara, but was unable, there is a place to send them to be fixed, my model is Sport Spot 3 million, thanks

Baccus just bought Vector from Black & Decker (Sept. 2010)
Looks like flashlight model # VEC 139BW but a different color. (Mine is White w/blue trim.) There is a battery in the top & one in the bottom, replace them at the same time. If I can find several battery stores in Buffalo you should be able to find a local battery store there.
Baccus- 877-571-2391 for main beam, area light no longer available. Try to find local distributor & save shipping charges.

Dead battery

It depends on what voltage the internal battery is. If it's a 6 volt, the charging voltage will be a little higher, close to 6.5 to 7 volts. Most of these spotlights are 6 volt.
