One of two possibilities.
1. All the dirt that accumulated in the broken pipe has not been flushed out. Turn the water on at the farthest point from where the water line enters you house and leave it running until all signs of dirty water have gone.
2. The repair was either not done properly or you have another break that was not discovered. Contact your repairman to it have PRESSURE checked to ensure another break does not exist.

Water will not come on in faucets, it was running just a few minutes ago now nothing, checked and no burst pipes. Could a pipe be frozen? we have had below freezing temps for days.

yes probably...one thing to do is to remove the aerator's
from them open them up and see what happens. don't close them cuz if it's warming up we hope... it'll help them flow better to get the water moving thru the pipes.
if it is just one open the vanity doors, or any doors that contain the fixture plumbing. let some heat get in there.
is water ok running in other areas? or whole house?

Cold water line frozen going into washing machine

If you can find the frozen section and it is easily visible, you should try to defrost it with a hair dryer. The problem will be finding it. It is likely behind sheetrock. If that is the case, then just raise the thermostat and keep the door open to allow for circulation of air in the room to defrost it. Something else you can do if you have an area sensitive to freezing in the house, is find a faucet near the washer and let the water run just a little (drip) to keep the water moving during deep frosts.

Inside of freezer door bubbled up

If the pipe that burst was spraying water onto the refrigerator, it is likely that some water got between the inner panels of the freezer door. This water then froze and expanded, pushing out the inner panel of the freezer.

Water pipes frozen central heating still going am afraid when thaw comes that pipes will burst

Look it is not when thawing that they burst, if they were going to burst they would have done that already. The pipes burst when they freeze and the water expands, it just so happens you do not find that until you defrost the pipes and the water can flow. You really need to visually inspect all of your piping while it is defrosting and then isolate the leak for repair. If they were going to break they already did. Good luck and I am praying for you!!

My bosch washing machine is a cold filled and the cold pipe is frozen as we got it in the garage can we us the hot fill with water min setting

You could, but bear in mind that it will be rinsing in hot water, so it could affect your washing.
I would suggest wrapping hot cloths round cold inlet hose and hope that will unfreeze it.
Also possible water could be frozen in the valve as well, which could burst when water unfreezes.

My hotpoint wf430 when i programme for a wash it doesnt fill up with water, just makes a low buzzing noise.could pipes be frozen.

Could well be the case, there have been a lot of problems with frozen waser pipes.
Try wrapping hot cloths round pipe/s to see if that solves the problem.

FTF530FS Front Load washing machine. Clothes smell.

all front load washers have the problem. Mold and a build up or dirt and soap and fabric softner cause s old musty smell. The low water use makes the machine dirty and build up inside. Run a few Hot water washes with out clothing, Run it empty ,(run your hot water neer your washer to get the cold water out of the house pipes) hot water and pour bleach in side, 2 or more cups. Keep doing it. When your not using washer leave the door open so air can get inside. Hot wash,es with bleach will keep it clean, also dont use fab softner.

Hotpoint Aquarius WF740 My washing is coming out with dirty marks and bits of slimy dirt. I wonder if it is from the door seal as this is dirty or could it be something else? I used the persil gel filled...

Your pipe to the water pump exit is probably blocked with bits of old fluff or missing sock, i found that the clothes had slimy bits on mine, i tilted it up and removed the rubber water exit pipe from under neath, cleaned out all the rubbish and works a treat now.
