Probably your battery is dead because if there would have been any problem with your charger port, you cant be able to use it on plugged mode. Buy a new battery ASAP.
Are you sure the charger is working correctly? When you plug the charger into the tablet and into the wall, then leave it alone for half an hour, does the charger feel at all warm? Is there power to that outlet, or is it a switched outlet (like one used for a lamp)?
If the charger feels warm after half an hour, does the back of the tablet also feel warm? It may actually be charging.
If the charger is dead cold (same temperature as a table) and you're sure that it's plugged into a good outlet and correctly plugged into the tablet, then it's a good bet that the charger is dead & you need to find another.
Can you also charge that tablet with a USB cable connected to a PC? That'd be a good test. Try doing that - if that ALSO will not charge the tablet, then there may be a problem with the tablet itself.
All you need to do is be sure whu will need to replace both.
If the problem is with either the charger/battery you will need to figure that out first.
Please have the battery charged of your laptop, and try using the laptop only with the battery and without the charger, If it works fine you will have to check the charger now.
In order to check the charger, please take out the battery from the laptop, now connect your charger to the laptop and try switching on the laptop. If it does not work then your charger is faulty.
You can purchase the accessories online at various portals. I am providing one of the portal information:
Hi, this could be an unhelpfull suggestion but the charger may not be compatable with your laptop. Laptops notoriosly have different power settings, you may be forced to purchase a new Acer charger. Try ebay, you may be lucky
Hi, it might be one of the two.Sometime when a battery hangs, it might stop charging. what to do is to switch it off remove the battery and fix it back, then but it on again and see what happens.
You can also, try it out with another charger and another battery to sure of which really needs to be changed.
Ezra,
It could be:
1. Dead battery due to faulty Charger. Check the voltage of the charger output. Replace if dead.
2. Dead battery NOT because of charger. You can check it by plugging into the wall socket. Replace if found dead.
3. Faulty power jack on the laptop. Replace it if battery is fine.
4. Faulty power on switch. Needs a replacement.
5. Fault ahead of the switch, then need a professional job.
If you drained the battery try to recharge again from your pc or laptop, I am sure that there is nothing wrong happened when you left your mobile phone connected with your pc. You PC is off, so there is no power supply that will flow to your mobile or charger. It make sense that it just drained. Try to buy a new battery and test it, let's see if your mobile will work again, if you don't want to buy a new battery to waste some penny. Just bring your phone to your nearest technical shop to test it. I guess they will not charge you for that.
