Inappropriate questions and wrong category

What! Look at the Leader Board on the lower right hand side of the screen. We get between 1 and 3 points for answering a question and those points were reset at 2:00 am on Monday morning.

If you are seeing old questions in the list of 'New' questions it is because someone added spam to them and one of the admins removed the spam. That brings it back up on the new questions list. There are always too many questions to answer every day, and I am here 6 to 10 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are all unpaid volunteers. Also, if a question is answered, it is removed from the list of active questions and is sort of archived. If you are seeing a list of old unanswered questions, that is why they are still in the category list.

According to your history, you only have this question showing. Normally, we only delete spam or ill eagle stuff. Recently we have been deleting very old 2015/2018 questions that are unanswered and have attracted a scam website. There have also been glitches where questions haven't posted or vanished. There was talk of a rogue moderator deleting questions to get the points, but never proven. We also delete duplicates of questions, and occasionally, I will see two questions onscreen, delete one, go to answer the other and find that either the OP has deleted it because it was in the wrong category, or another moderator has because it is a duplicate when they saw it.

Many users post questions as Anonymous, so it would not be correct to simply delete them all.

Assuming your question was accidentally posted under the same category, The Computers & Internet, was it posted today?

I notice that below your posting, there are links to Request more info, edit, re-categorize, delete, or flag. If your post is appearing in the wrong category, click re-categorize and then the right category.

Glad to have another future expert on the line. When you answer, for maximum points and maximum interaction, use the ALL UNANSWERED option. That way you are not answering questions that are already answered. Also, if you try to work under an area of expertise, you will find that many of the questions are relatively old. You can see at the bottom of the question the date it was posted. Some of the ones you've answered are almost three years old. Those folks no doubt have moved on. That doesn't mean that answering the question isn't needed; someone else may see it and it will help them. If you are looking for fast points though, skip the categories and just skim down the ALL UNANSWERED list. These are posted most recent first, and then backward. They are worth the most points. You'll find that attaching pictures, links, and videos get you extra points. Have fun and experiment a bit.

You can find Questions to answer by doing the following:

2. Click on Answer on the left side.
   
3. Enter your Brand or Category in the Search Engine and Click on the Search Icon
   

Alternatively you can find questions based on searches you have previously saved by:

1. Clicking on Saved Searches
   

1. Choosing your Brand or Category from the list and clicking on your choice.
2. You will then be presented with a choice of Questions based on the options you have selected.

However, please note that you must refrain from providing personal contact information, soliciting goods or services, or linking to your personal website.
Additionally, only respond to questions if you can provide a unique, original solution.

what is wrong here is you asked for a model and manufacturer of an item that only you know what it is
it is up to the person asking the question to clearly understand that the responsibility to get a good answer lies with them as fixya site crystal balls are broken
