The positioning of the new TPS IS OFFSET....It is possible to install it wrong by accident..I have seen this happen before..The pressure from the sensor plastic actuator has been installed and slightly twisted against the throttle lever inside which causes throttle to raise slightly....Wear safety glasses and disconnect battery..Remove sensor slowly and carefully while removing and watch the throttle lever inside to see if it moves in any direction...Carefully install it again making sure it doesn't twist the throttle lever inside where sensor mounts...The lever on the sensor should stay in its position...Carefully install sensor making sure it doesn't twist...Connect wiring and battery and start for a safety check.....It is possible to have a wrong sensor or faulty new sensor...Double check that it is the correct sensor...
