I have a Juki TL-98Q The thread cutter and the needle up down button don't work. How can I fix them?

Has a piece of broken needle or chunk of thread jammed into the blades and are not letting them move? If there was a big time thread jam it can actually break one of your blades and you will have to go to a repair man and have the blade replaced.

Where would I get free threading instructions for my JukiTL-98Q [email protected]

Hi
There are some other Juki machines which have free threading guides on http://www.sewusa.com/Sewing_Machine_Threading_Diagrams.htm Maybe one is similar to your machine as I couldn't see your model number listed.
Hope this helps!

I have lost the manual and i dont remember how to thread a bobbin. Pleas help me and thank you!

Juki TL-98Q
Loading the bobbin into the bobbin case:
Snap in the bobbin case latch, and put the bobbin into the bobbin case so that the bobbin runs clockwise.
Passing the thread through the **** of the bobbin case, continue passing it under the thread tension spring, and pull out the thread open end about 10 cm from the bobbin case.
Insert the bobbin case fully into the hook, and close the bobbin case latch.
You can obtain a copy of the manual in pdf format for free at:

Needle thread breaks while quilting on machine frame

My friend and I both have the Juki 98Q but on different frames - we were both having problems (needles breaking, thread getting tangled) we removed the thin metal thing inside the bobbin case and have had no problems since (over a year now!).
