Lenovo T61 notebook. I can't set up my wifi on my iPhone because I can't undergstand the password in my handbook. The Cogeco serviceman installer used both Upper case and Lower case. I have tried all sequences and nothing works.

Hi if wifi issue only affects your iphone,you can try this steps: Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Note: This will reset all network settings, including passwords, VPN, and APN settings.
What kind of error? Are you trying to connect to a wifi connection encrypted with a password? If yes, you have to enter the correct password to be able to access the internet.
If the error still persists, try to reset network settings. It should fix all network related problems. Just go to Settings > General then press Reset Network Settings
A "Kill Switch" for Lenovo ThinkPads is usually on the very front narrow edge of the haptics and keyboard pad. I don't remember exactly, but you have to slide it to the left or right to enable WiFi networking.

then that means you dont have wifi at your house you can get it from sprint or at&t. you pay each month like 10 bucks and they give you a small rectangle wifi receiver and you can connect up to 6 laptops wirelessly
password for what? bios or windows?
if it's the windows password, press the f8 key before windows starts and choose safe mode, choose administrator for the username and then go to user accounts and remove the password for your account.
if it's the bios password, you have to strip the laptop and pull the bios battery on the system...it looks like a large watch battery but becarefull not to break anything.
