Check for any bursted electrolytic capacitors on its main power supply regulator board. The sound you heard might be to this burst. Take care, and unplug the TV from AC mains supply wall socket, before opening and checking this board. See examples of bulged [bursted] capacitor.
sounds like you have a cable connection problem make sure your tv is set to dtv signal in the menu screen. when you scan the channels should be displayed as 12.1 or 8.2 not just a single number if the digital channels are programmed correctly then change the cable coming into the tv from antenna making sure that it isnot crossing any power wires good luck and hope that i helped
I had a similar problem. Fleeting video, then audio only for few seconds and then nothing except the green power LED blinking on and off. I changed the power inverter board, backlight inverter boards and power supply board but still the problem is not gone.
Hi, Unfortunately the panel is cracked internally can't can't be repaired the whole panel has to be replaced. most times the panel will cost as much as you paid for the set. My son cracked ours when it was only 3 weeks old it doesn't take much force to ruin one.
