My machine works, but the will not light up - GE Profile WPRE6100G Top Load Washer

sounds like there is a short somewhere in the machine and needs to be checked

When you start your machine is the water just go stop go stop,
Just wait for the machine to display an error code on the wash progress lights and beeps constantly.
It could be the Rotor Position Sensor, out of balance switch or lid magnetic reed switch.
Your error code will determine this.
Is your machine beeping & showing a weird pattern of lights on the wash cycle, It is displaying an error code,
To read this error code you start at the red spin light & work to the left only add up the lights that are on. Red spin light = 1 2nd rinse light =2 1st rinse light =4 last wash light=8 4th wash light=16 3rd wash light=32 2nd wash light=64 1st wash light=128

if the light was working before it was took to the shop & now it's not working

If the machine works but the light does not you will need to change a bulb, if the machine and light does not work try the fuse in the plug.

That is the machine is saying to empty the drip tray, pull out the tray on the side and wait until the red light start flashing then put back the tray.

Mine has always worked that way; it only seems to have enough power to do a single set of 25 second shots before a short re-heat

try letting vinager and water sit in it for a couple of hours then rinse

Your machine probably needs re setting hold power down for 60 seconds see if that works
