I have been told this not possible on nokia 6300 without buying a package which I don't need as I will just ignore call from this particular caller.

The only solution to your problem that comes to my mind is to get your firmware upgraded from Nokia Care. And in future remember the password, or atleast write it down some safe place.

The code is 0000 or 1234 its a default code for all models try it definitely you can have a solution.
