How do i remove the Cinavia code 3 from my PlayStation 4

If you are using PlayStation and then you come across Cinavia Message Code 3, you can go to Settings >> date and time settings, then set the date and year one by one to fix it. But after setting, the Cinavia Message Code 3 will appear minutes later.
Another way to solve the Cinavia Message Code 3 is to use a Cinavia removal to remove the protection. You can try Leawo Blu-ray Cinavia Removal

How do I remove Cinavia?

Cinavia is an anti-piracy watermark put onto movies and such. If it pops up on your disc then it's probably a pirate copy.

IO error when movie starts playing and stops

IO error means Input/Out error. It looks like your mediaplayer is not liking your external hard drive. Make sure the video is supported by the mediaplayer, otherwise you will need to convert it to a video file that the player supports.

I have some movies downloaded to an external hard drive. When I try playing them through my Samsung HT-D4500 or HT-E4500, I get an error message: Cinavia Message Code 3, and the sound is muted. This keeps...

The cinavia is not an error. This means that Samsung suscpects that you dont have the proper licences to play that file.
Cinavia is a copy protection that is used in some Blueray movies, and this copy protection is not removed when the file is ripped from the BD disk.
If you play the file on a computer or some other media player that dont have cinavia protection enabled, then the file will play without problems.
I have a Samsung HT-D6750W, and the same problem apeared after a firmware update, think it happended between fw version 1012 and 1013.
There is no way to downgrade the firmware in these players, but some of them does support custom built firmware. After you get that custom firmware installed, the software will be more open. Then it will be possible to patch the needed files to bypass the cinavia.
But this is a complicated process which require a bit knowledge to linux. And doing stuff like that will involve a certain risk of bricking the device if you do it wrong, and it will certainly break any warranty.
But if you are still feeling comfortable with trying this, then go to the SamyGO and try to figure out if your model is supported or not. Here are a few links to help you get started. But before joining the forum and start asking questions, do read all the info in the wiki's and search for your questions in earlier posts first.

Honedownloaded amovie to watch on my ps3 put it on my portable hard drive from my laptop to watch on the playstation 3 the film gets 3 mins in then comes up with chavia message code 1

Cinavia is an anti-piracy protection embedded into the PS3 and it triggered by some codes in the audio track of the movie.

You cant play Cinavia protected movies on the Playstation 3 native player.

However If your Ps3 is jail-broken you can use a homebrew player to play those movies.
