Sanyo lcd40xr10f with on pix blank screen (no sound). red stby turns blue with remote or manual pwr on front of screen..all pwr supply rails (volts) appear to be there and disappear when stby in off mode. ( down loaded cirt. diagram to check pwr supply volts.. run out of ideas as to where to go next. any tips on what else to check.regards john

just cause your power supply is tested good doesnt make it good it could be a shorted panel or more likely the leds behind it unplug everything except the remote eye mainboard and buttons from the power supply and see if the light stays on if it does then i would look into the led strips also check the flash's i dont remember if samsung has a set amount of flashes = a code
Fault with the main power supply regulator board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. You have a power supply problem.Most brand they have modules. If you can open the back you will see a few separated Modules.You will see a power supply module just replace it Take note of the connectorsThey have letters usualy to match the plugs. By the away do you have any sound?
Hello, It sounds like you have a defective power supply. Typically, +5 volt stby is present if the TV switches on with front indicator light. On the power supply, connector 802 pin 4 is the on command from the pcb main to switch the p.supply on. If this signal is present but still no VS,VA,VE panel voltages are missing, the p. supply is bad. Good luck!

Any way check in STBY PCB you must have 5.6V STBY that voltage supply to CPU or system control when you turn on the relay will switch AC line to the big transformer now if any thing wrong with the regulator or output or output drive it will shutdown automatic and the red LED will blinking indicated some thing wrong
Give me exactly location of the component in STBY PCB the small transformer TR?? C?? or R?? with voltage? connector number such as J ??

ITS BROKE - YOU HAVE TO GET IT FIXED OR THROW IT OUT. SAME THING HAPPENED TO US -UNDER WARRANTY BUT WE HAVE TO PAY THE $80 TO SHIP IT TO THEM. WHAT A FARSE.

Sounds like you have patience, hope your TV has some trace left. Hit recommends that you replace the originals with
STK-392-150's and the resistors. Replace said items with care then back down on the screen/ focus controls and gradually bring the screens up until you have pic, adjust focus. Go into customer menu and adjust color down, set brightness to 50%, contrast to 100%. Then go back and adjust the screens for proper, black/white, tracking. AND It's best to double check the soldering connections.
