I tried the above link and found it tried to install "vix player" a video app for Mac.

There are two pay applications under Launchpad - Application (type "pop up app blocker".

I am familiar with "ad blocker" I am not with the other.

Hope this helps.

MacBook Air ? mark flashing

Short answer -> If the flashing icon is a question mark on a folder, it means that your MacBook cannot find a bootable drive.

Longer answer-> If you have an Apple store near you, they can diagnose it more thoroughly. If you have been doing periodic backups to a Time Capsule or other device, take that with you.

Apple macbook pro

http://forums.macrumors.com/forumdisplay.php?f=129 Look here first as I'd need more info prior to Guestimating the cause.. (Were Swamped).. Any way post back.. Sounds like drive failure to me or similar/OS Issue but could be more. Is the flashing/Change Timed or an Intermittent thing..

Good luck!
