I have an NSM Galaxy 200 vinyl floor model. The carriage moves as if to pick up and stops at the desired number and acts as though it's picking up but doesn't. Is this a simple fix?

NSM jukeboxes, the nightmare of all jukes to repair...Its been awhile since Ive worked on a Galaxie but it sticks in my mind there is a power supply voltage that is known for giving issues on that machine, test them all and see if one is missing...good luck!!
