How do i get the caller id to appear on my fitbit hr. bluetooth is on and it says on my phone that it is connected, but it is not showing?

If you subscribe to caller ID service, information about each caller appears after the first or second ring. If you answer a call before the caller information appears on the screen, it will not be saved in the caller ID log. The caller ID log stores up to 50 entries. Each entry has up to 24 digits for the phone number and 15 characters for the name. If the telephone number has more that 15 digits, only the last 15 digits appear. If the name has more than 15 characters, only the first 15 characters are shown and saved in the caller ID log. Review a caller ID log entry Press CID when the phone is not in use. Scroll to browse through the caller ID log. When the desired entry appears: Press repeatedly to show different dialing options. Press 1 repeatedly if you need to add or remove 1 in front of the phone number. Press or to dial the displayed number. it uses bluetooth do you have blue tooth ?

unplug the one that gets caller ID and one more. Do you get caller ID on the remaining phone?
Caller ID is sent between the first and second ring, as well as the second and third ring. It may be that the other phones require that 2nd Caller ID signal and you've answered it elsewhere.

I am assuming that the other phones have a display and are Caller ID capable phones.
Can you post the model numbers of the phones that don't get Caller ID? We can then try to locate a user guide for them.

yes it will happen when u connect with your Bluetooth you have to use your Bluetooth only no u can see anything on your phone

Thanks for using FixYa. I think you have stored more than 100 Caller ID messages and hence the caller ID is not showing on Uniden Tru8888. In the following cases the caller ID will not be shown-

If you answer a call before the Caller ID message is received (for example, before the second ring), the Caller ID message will not appear.

When the call is received via a telephone company that does not offer Caller ID service, the caller’s phone number and name does not appear. (This includes some international calls.)

When the call is via a private branch exchange (PBX), the caller's phone number and name may not appear.

You may receive any one of the following messages:

When a private name is received; Private Name
When a private number is received; Private Number
When a unknown name is received; Unknown Name
When a unknown number is received; Unknown Number
When invalid data is received; Incomplete Data

The Caller ID list stores information for incoming calls - even unanswered calls. You can store up to 100 Caller ID messages and phonebook entries (including Speed Dials) for each handset and the base. You can view the Caller ID list through the handset or base during a call or when the phone is in standby mode.

Memory locations for Caller ID messages and Phonebook entries (including Speed Dials) are common, you can store up to all 100 entries for each handset and the base. Caller ID messages are not stored when you have 100 phonebook entries. When you have stored a total of 100 phonebook entries and Caller ID messages, the oldest Caller ID message is overwritten.

Caller ID is only sent to devices plugged directly into the "PHONE" jack on the back of the 21518. I'm guessing your TV DVR or Cable Box is connected directly to the real phone line. Maybe you need an RJ-11 splitter so you can plug both your phone AND the cable box in to the "PHONE" output of the 21518. I appologize if you've already tried this.

Try connecting a regular corded telephone or a standalone Caller ID box. Does Caller ID information show up?

If you have multiple telephones (I don't mean a single cordless telephone base with multiple handsets) and none of them are showing Caller ID after 3 rings it would appear that the telephone company does not have Caller ID turned on for your telephone line.

Hi! There is a small device available in the market which is a converter. By connecting this between landline and phone, caller ID start display simply.

It cost to me Rs.450/- made by Fintel. Try to get it cheaper at your place.

Try this and the problem is solved.
