WHAT TRANSDUCE GOES WITH THE DS600X COLOR ..WHERE CAN I BUY ?

A transducer does not give "colors".. the unit its plugged into provides the colors..
50khz for deep water.. 200khz for shallow water..
A transducer simply sends and receives signals to and from whatever is on the bottom of the lake...

no you buy a new one there a sealed unit cant take them apart

You either have a fault in the head unit, connection to the transducer, broken wire in the transducer cable, or a faulty transducer.

You either have a faulty head unit, bad connection between the transducer and head unit, or a faulty transducer or transduced cable.

We would recommend that you replace the transducer (if you want to keep the transducer inside the hull you may use the
XP 9 20 T with temperature and you can use epoxy to mount the transducer) If you want to keep in the compartment you have created you may want to just put water in the compartment with the transducer so its not shooting through the air.

Is The transducer In Side the Hull Or Mounted On The Transom?
If Inside Remove It And Re Fit It Using Epoxy Glue Ensuring No Air Pocket Between transducer And Hull.
If transom Mounted Replace Transducer.

The depth loosing bottom would certainly indicate that you may have growth fouling the transducer, however the sea temp 220 degrees indicates possibly a different problem. Start by being sure the transducer is squeaky clean and see what that does for you.

I finally got an email reply from Navman. If the unit is less than two years old (mine is not) they will repair it. If it is over two years old, or if you can't prove that it is less than two years old, you can ship it to them and they will repair it for the low, low price of 355 US dollars.

Pretty nice of them since it appears these units are highly problematic isn't it? I am wondering if they guarantee their fix, or just have you on the hook for another 355 dollars later.
