SOURCE: 2 routers, same WLAN MAC addresses.
Hello Sailorgreg,
mac addresses are supposed to be unique addresses for each and every wireless network device.
There is no way to change or modify a mac address as it is programmed into the actual network adapter.
If you have purchased two different routers and they have the mac address for both, I would recommend trading one of them in because this would be a defect.
Thank you,
Pat

First of all, two wireless devices cannot have the same WLAN MAC address. Its like a fingerprint. In this rare case, as you do have it that manner. You can TRY to connect both routers using wireless bridging and check the MAC address (if different) of the router on the DHCP client list. If its the same, this feature will not work. With this. if we confirm its an issue with WLAN MAC address, as it can also be a printing mistake. You can go ahead and request for a replacement from US Robotics and bring this to their notice. Moreover, its not possible to spoof or clone the MAC address present of the network adapter of a router.
Thanks and regards,
Arvind
