You must use the factory remote. Mutlibrand will not work for this option. No matter the universal remote, you need the original. No other way to do this.

1. Press MENU on original remote only
2. Then press 2,4,7, and 0
3. Select "initialize" and then 'ENTer"

This will full restore to factory original settings. but you need the original Mitsubishi remote.

L have a 42 inch rca television that was given to me front panel is locked and l dont know the parental control code and lm using a universal remote how can l reset these

You will need an original remote and the owner manual to unlock the front controls--that simple--Try to Google the model number with "manual" first to see how it is unlocked.

I have a mitsubishi WS-55315 parental lock is on.and i have no original remote is there a fix

You are going to have to have a Mitsubishi remote to do it--with that contact Mitsubishi and ask for the 4 digit code to enter to do the hard reset of the set--puts everything back to factory original when set was new.

I have a mitsubishi wd-52525 tv and just replaced the lamp but the picture does not look as bright as before. no settings have been changed.

Try "initializing" a "factory reset" power on the tv then on the remote "menu 1,2,3 enter". Start the reset to default and see if the new refreshed settings help.

Try searching for a possible "factory reset" for this brand. It will be a secret set of buttons on the remote to enter the default reset menu. I hope that gets you something to try. BTW you should have the original remote or a universal remote with all buttons communicating with the tv to do this. ie numbers, menu, up, down, left, right...

How to reset lamp timer without remote

you cant, when you remove and replace the lamp cover the tv will come on and ask if you changed the lamp. you need to press enter on the remote (not the tv) to reset the counter. go buy a universal remote and program it to your tv then use that. make sure the remote you buy has an enter button. most should, but you never know.
