According to page 66 of the manual, "The brew unit or the brew unit motor is not in the correct position."

1. Turn the unit off with the power button.
2. Press the smaller cup & larger cup buttons simultaneously. Then press the OK button twice.
(This will initialize the brew unit motor and the brew unit will move into the start position.)
3. If the brew unit can still not be removed or replaced in the machine, contact the Miele Technical Service Department (800) 999-1360 [Monday-Friday 8AM-8PM EST].

Miele CM5100 Coffee machine. After grinding the beans, message appears "dispensing stopped", it dumps the grind without making the coffee.

This is a problematic machine that appears on Fixya two or 3 times every week. You need dealer service, as it sounds like you have a sticking valve, solenoid or motor, Immer Besser.

Hi, how to remove the stainless in the front to clean the nozzles ? ( Miele cm5100 coffee machine ). Thank you. There is only one screw in the bottom.

This model has a self rinsing mode that is on by default.

It is important to rinse the system daily to remove any coffee residues from the coffee system. The hot water from the rinsing process also pre-warms the pipework.
It is also important to rinse the system at the end of each day.

The pipework is rinsed automatically then the coffee system is turned off if this function is turned on, and the coffee system has prepared at least one drink since it was turned on.
The machine comes with this function turned on.

My Miele machine will not go back on after descaling The machine is a Cm5100

Is there some error message? You must finish descale on those machines or it stays stucked in process. I had a situation that pipes were clogged, and machine didnt finish descale, and it couldnt turn on. I had to clean pipes, finish descale, and then it was working again.

Miele cm5100 the machine turns on but it will not fill with water.

Is water actually turned on? Are hose and valve screens clear of debris? Are hot and cold water hoses reversed?

Miele CVA 4070 dispensing unit leaking

Pull out the brewer, turn it a quarter-turn to your right, and look at the spot where that small black plastic piece -- shaped like a block "M" or block "W" -- should be situated. Pull it out, if it isn't out already. Don't worry about yanking it out or harming these parts, they're made from the same plastic used in football helmets.
This approx. 1.5" wide, blocky plastic piece is part of the "slide" that takes the brewed coffee grounds into the waste container. When positioned correctly, it looks like a block "W," with the "wings" pointing up, and slides in just under a brown 1.5" flat piece. A small, down-facing tab on the brown piece clicks into the "W" piece and holds it in place. The "W" should feel fairly solid, although it is not rigidly in place, as the entire mechanism is a movable system to deposit the grounds in the waste receptacle.
Put everything back inside your CVA 4070 "love" machine, hit "on," wait for it to go through its warm-up and display No F73 message.

Hope this helps

Miele coffee machine model #CV4070 - bearing/revolving wheel mechanism stuck in place inside coffee machine. Needing it to move into neutral in order to put brewer and waste container back into place.

Quite a problem. Now, I guess it's not easy to contact a particular user familiar with all this procedure. Su maybe you should contact MIELE.
