I sign a used car contract and im not happy with the warranty on the car ..only twenty weeks left on warranty and iask to get out of the car competently and purchase a new car ..they are budging do I have any recourse?

sure. if warranty in effect. you cant read the date on this contract?
what is not cured, is : (in general (back of contract rules)

hoses, pads, shoes, tires. belts.
but if in USA where is a dealer now? they are gone right?
if car was not serviced, and the belt snapped, overheating
the engine, they can reject you. but try hard and win.

I would ask hard questions on this one I paid almost a thousand dollars for an extended warranty on a used car and six weeks later I had to tow the car in. I showed them the warranty paper work and they answered oops it does not cover the computer and parts. It was running parts only like engine and tranny.

you didn`t read the contract before you signed it to know what is and what is not covered. you will have a fight on your hands to try to get a refund.

Hello. Your answer is YES. My dealership sells these same plans all of the time, and the customers who have them are very happy with the coverage provided..

Here are a few points to consider:
The body computer is $1200.00
The throttle body motor is $900.00

The plan will replace these, and many other parts at no cost to you.

The extended contract is a very good thing to have.

I have the exact same issue.

I was a warranty inspector for a while...Nearly every warranty contract I have ever seen states that a lift kit voids the warranty. I tend not to agree with the reasoning behind that, but if that is what your contract states, that's what it is. Some "radical" lift kits can cause geometry problems but mostly the problems I have seen are not caused by the lift kit itself but the larger tires that are used that can put undue stress on components. I suggest that you carefully read your contract to see what exclusions are stated in there before arguing your point.

Convertible top will not retract

Do you know where are the two levers on left and right side when open the tailgate? The one you open to raise the soft top from behind?
Well, one of them is not close tight enough. Open it up and close it back. There should be small click from the sensor. Sometimes the sensor won't get engaged and it won't allow opening the top, assuming it's open from the other side.
