Model number L40FHD41
I always use Google to get the instructions for my remotes. It helps to look on the label for the brand and model number of your remote, then just Google away. I have used the method successfully several times. Another fun trick is to check on your phone for remote control apps. I use my phone as backup when my grandkids misplace my remote. :-) Good luck.
The TV does not have persay a code. A universal remote has different codes which should be in the owners manuel for the remote, google the remote control model to see a copy of the remote manuel.

I got the 42" Polaroid HDTV from Walmart (on Black Friday) and was able to link it to my Tivo remote using the Mitsubishi setting and code 0001.
1. Tivo Central
2. Settings
3. Remote Control
4. Part 1 and then Part 3
I use it to Power On/Off and Volume control.
