Getting a online error and printer won't print.

Without knowing what online error, it's not easy to diagnose what happened and how to compensate.

Anyway, try checking the printer cables to ensure they're connected and properly seated. Verify that the paper tray is correctly loaded and the Toner light is OK.
Verify that all printer covers are flush and closed, and check that the printer is correctly connected at the software level (i.e., in Control Panel -> Printers -> (ML2010) -> Right Click -> Properties -> Ports, you have the proper USB socket selected).

Try plugging it in another USB port. Did it stop working, or did it never work? If the latter, then the driver could be incorrectly installed; try removing it and installing again.

My HP officejet 4300 series stopped printing and shows that it is offline. How do I get it back online?

To get back online of your printer, go to Control Panel and Select Printer & Faxes then OPEN.
A list of Printer is on the browser, point the printer with your mouse then right click on your Printer HP OfficeJet to select Printer Offline and click it to go back Printer Online. Good luck!

Trying to print, printer says ready, yet status says idle. have connected it to the correct ports but still will not print. it feeds out two pages of white A4 and then stops. what can i do?

well what you need to do is uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers from the control panel>printers anf faxes or the device manager under the USB controllers.restart the computer and then plug the printer back in.The drivers would be reloaded and your concern would be resolved

Printer stopped working

Check printer, is it ready/online ? Do a test via keypad of printer and see if printer is ok.

If printer is ok then check again cable that goes from it to PC

If printer is not working, check for error lights, display, paper, jams.

We need to know Model and Make of printer, what you are using to print, and how it's connected, to help you any further.

Printer Offline

If your problem still persists then If the printer and the printserver is on and connected to the printserver and the router respectively. Then try right clicking on the printer icon in the printers and faxes window to set it online. Try Printing. If it did not work, then right click on the printer icon again > Properties > Ports > set the proper network port. Apply the settings and try Printing.
