You must have a google login (user name and password) for either of those. Add a gmail account; the part before the "@" symbol is your user name.

Hi,as for YOUYUBE : do you have correct settings?It's very high data demanding app as well so a big(unlimited) data package is necessary. Also would try install application called youtubeplay. It's not to same as built in Youtube.
And for media streaming I recommend Coreplayer. It will play streaming media and most of other as well(.mp3,.mp4,.avi etc).

You need to call straighttalk. Does it have a sim card? If it does it miite be wrong becuz i bought a fone yesterday and we called becuz it said call failed, Text could not be sent retry. We took it back and got a replacement without a sim card it works great! Mine didnt have the rite sim card! hope this helped (:
