How do I fix the security check on my xbox360?

the issue is with in the swapping. The system inbedded a security code that is only identify by that single xbox360. In order for your system to recongize your disk drive in another xbox360 is if 1. the diskdrive is replica of the one swaped then only the chip under the drive is needed from that system or 2. flashing the disk drive. **BOTH ARE ILLEGAL**

you can manage either one by googling flashing xbox360 diskdrive ______ <--- the type of diskdrive you swaped out.

The XBOX360 requires a update file for each XBOX game to play on it. Not all games are supported. If your XBOX360 is connected to the internet it will automatically check for an update when a XBOX game is inserted. If your XBOX360 is not connected to the internet then you can burn a DVD or CD rom from a computer with the update files and insert the disc into the XBOX360 and update the files. Or you can load then to a USB jump drive and plug the jump drive to the USB port on the XBOX360 and update from that. And remember not all XBOX games will play on the XBOX360. Only ones with updated files. So if it does not play after the file update then it is not supported. Microsoft updates these files quarterly so check back once a month for more updates.

the feed cables might be broken because of water damage or just bad cables, you can get new ones at any electronic store or maybe walmart or target. this might help.

depends.you can try to go get a new jack to huck up to the red white yellow .and if it is not that then u might have to see if u can just take it in or ask where you got it from.

i had this exact problem. the reason mine wasn't working was because the security settings for my wireless router were set on wp2a and the xbox 360 can't pick this up. change your wireless router security to wpa and you should be fine...after i did this it saw my network and i was fine

this could be that an internal piece within the console has melted or is no longer functoning. Also, make sure your av cable is securely inserted. For more help contact Xbox customer support.

Are all four quadrants blinking red around the power button? This indicates that your Audio/Video cable is not plugged into the 360. Unplug it and plug it back in, or make sure it is securely plugged in.
