Actually, if you look closely at that Low Rinse button or emblem, you will see a little lock symbol above the words "Low Rinse", and I'll bet THAT light is the one that is on. Basically, you have the control lock (or child-lock) turned on. To turn it off, you have to press and hold the Sanitize button for 3 to 5 seconds until that light goes off. Now your dishwasher will work!

I see that your Electrolux dishwasher starts cycle on low rinse. This typically indicates your dishwasher has low rinse aid. The RINISING AGENT LOW light, typically located near the Rinse Only Pad, comes on at the end of cleaning cycle when the rinse agent reservoir is low. The light will remain on through 5 successive cycles or until the reservoir is filled. Also, using rinse aid will enhance dryer performance and reduces water sports and filming. Hope this helps!
Depends on the version of the control board. If its the original, with a large heat sink near the center you can only adjust the rinse lenght by adding a jumper. Look on the right side near the middle to top. you will see a place to add the jumper in a set of pins, near where the jumper is for low or high temp options.
If it's the new style, you can short the two pins and go into factory service mode. Use the buttons on the board to advance through the options while monitoring the display. the Up arrow will incriment through each option. Powering off will save the changes.
Could be too much rinse aid....look at page 6 of the manual for models with rinse aid adjustment electronically or for models with manual setting , set the rinse aid dial to 2 and experiment. If not enough rinse aid causes problems too If set too low crank it up to 2 for manual models or factory setting electronically is 5
Good luck

Hello,
The wash temperature for a high temperature commercial dishwasher should be around 140F AND 160F. The final rinse temperature should be 180F to meet health code regulations. The final rinse temperature is reached during the end of the cycle for a few seconds. If the machine is a low temperature dishwasher the wash temperature and rinse temp will be around 140 F to 160 F. The sanitizing of your warewash will be done by the use of chlorine or iodine in the low temp application.

I've disconnected the sensor in the dispenser for my new Frigidaire
dishwasher. The setup is too unreliable in my opinion and is a potential
source of headaches. I had the same problem. I studied the design and
it's too easy for the floating magnet sensor in the rinse aid reservoir to
stick thereby not actuating what is called a reed switch to toggle the
control card LO ckt light. Mine has the electronic control front panel.
