How do I connect my view sonic 12843 to my DVD player?

DVD output (HDMI) to HDMI input on TV will transfer both audio and video from DVD to TV. Audio output on TV to unused Input on Yamaha receiver (Aux, CD, etc.). This hookup will allow DVD and TV channels audio playback through your Yamaha receiver. Remember to test any/all new hookups or connections using minimum settings (volume, etc.), and bring up levels slowly for the initial testing.

If the VHS player has a scart socket you can connect it to the Sony using one of these converting connects.

You haven't specified what hookups you are using, so I am going to assume they are RCA.

Both devices should have one or more sets of these (picture below) yellow, white and red jacks. You will need to use supplied cables or buy some RCA cables and simply connect them to the back of the DVD player (matching the colors of course) and connect the other side to the video in on the back of the television. Once it is connected, turn on the DVD player and switch the sources on your TV.

it could be the cable. change cable hookup. make sure your tv can support an dvd player.

you can plug in to a laptop if the laptop has vga out. affter plug play the film or something and give the view to projector. need to pushing special button on keyboard. which is with FN

go into the settings for sonicstage and select your dvd drive. that should be it. but you may have to do other things(i have a sony player too, but i have found sonicstage to be a waste of space and time. it is rather a pain. try looking through the manual and seeing if you have any options for the location of the cs drive. if not, then get a usb cd burner and connect it to the laptop. that should work properly.

Actually if you do have a ps2 you don`t really need a Dvd upconverter because Ps3 is a full Dvd player +blu Ray Hi Definition.I suggest to take the dvd out and just use the ps3 as a Dvd player

I had the same problem unitl I read the manual a little more carefully.

I found that ALL connections through my AV receiver had to be identical. I was using component connections with analog connections.

Since I switched to all HDMI connections (cable box to AV receiver, DVD to AV receiver and AV receiver to TV) all is fine.

You will need to connect the dvd via one of the inputs on the tv then select that input on the tv to see the dvd. Since dvd can connect to the tv several ways I suggest you read the owners manual as they show all the hookups to the tv. If your dvd has an hdmi input that's the best output to use from the dvd player.
