There is no fix, it is a Pixel gone out in display panel, good chance it is just stuck and will right itself but sadly sometimes they dont and the only fix is to replace the entire display panel Manufactures warrant such defects different depending on amount of dead pixels on screen is considered faulty, ie 3 pixels grouped or 5 separate ones .

No this is whats called a dead pixel. Since it's white the transistor at that pixel area is shorted. Depending on the age of the unit the manufactor may replace the unit if not the whole panel will have to be replaced at a cost of more than the unit cost. Most manufactor says more then one pixel has to be bad before they will do anything.
I had a similar problem with my LG plasma. I used the Image Sticking Minimization (Pixel Orbitor, White Wash, and Inversion) feature which is designed to prevent image burn in and ghosting. This ISM feature may be available on the Samsung or any other brand under a different name. I activated the "white wash" option for about 30 mins, the screen turns white and somehow the pixels get reset. The green noise disappeared after that. I hope this helps.Phezbuster
You will have to disconnect and reconnect the video signal plug located under the upper cover (the one with the power button on it). Best you start with a screwdriver in the very corner).

Additionally I removed a small magnet located under the lid cover (remove 6 screws under rubber placers and lift the lid), which I found next to the video cabling. This could have affected the video signal negatively. Lets see how long this fix lasts.....
