You have got two choices... either your power transformer has gone bad... or your tablet charge system is DONE.

(most likely you have had your 900 to 1000 lithium battery
RE-charges and need a new battery (LIFE Cycle)).

I believed you the FIRST time you gave out the "1854-dAC37" number... You added nothing new (About power on tablets).

Your number "1854-dAC37" is not getting any hits from well formatted search expressions (and varied combinations thereof (savvy?)).

I believe what you have there is a programmable Reference Voltage Generator.

It is not plug & play equipment... and the apparent VINTAGE of your equipment does not MATCH your "TABLET" category.

You need to DISCLOSE the SALIENT circuit NOMENCLATURE: drawings, make, model year... I'd be delighted to help you (further)

Now, could you tell us about WHAT MATTER you wish to talk about with a live person? Reformulate your questin an be more specific.

If your talking about the little teeth looking piece of metal, then your talking about the charging pin. If this is not right looking or doesn't appear like it used to then it probably won't charge. The tablet will have to be opened up and a new charging pin soldered into place. I recommend a professional or someone who knows exactly what they're doing as this is not an easy task.

press and hold the power button 10 sec ?
Press and hold both power and volume down buttons for 10 seconds, then release vol. down button while holding down power button for another 10 seconds, before releasing.
plug to pc and wait to be recognized?
take out the battery so that samsung fully discharge so this should help reset replug the battery.

Most tablets have a reset procedure. Small hole in back etc. Search the net.

Depending on WHEN your tablet was purchased, you can send it back to Archos to be repaired. (via their website http://www.archos.com/support/). I have broken the pin off in mine TWICE since I got it last November and both times I sent it back to Archos to fix free of charge. They paid for shipping and repaired it for free even though it was MY FAULT! so far there were no questions asked! I have been very pleased with their customer service (even tho i have never talked to a real person they have handled the issue and I am extremely happy). there are 2 issies w/returning it however, 1. you LOSE ALL YORU DATA. they wipe it out. I tried doing a back up and then reloading it to my tablet when i got it back but haven't been able to figure out how to get it back on. 2. You will be w/out your tablet for about a month! :( Good luck!!!!!

The computers contact point for the charging cord is "VERY" sensitive for me. I had to try many times to actually see the charging "icon" light up before letting it charge. Many times the icon would go back to "battery" during charge and I would have to re-try the connection again... Very annoying. If the battery get so drained that you can't see the "charging" icon, then it's a guessing game as to whether it's charging or not. I needed to re-install the OS and it took me 3 days to get my battery charged that way.
