My compaq presario SR5310F was downgraded from vista to xp professional. And the sound is not coming. When you play music, the music play alright but the sound does not come. And the USB port too is not working. I have tried all that I could do but still facing the same problem. I have even installed usb and sound drivers but still the same problem. Please I really need your help.

Hi mansur,
Chipset:
You should try Intel for your chipset (click here)
This will bring the download page from intel, enter your motherboard model/family and download chipset driver.

Graphics:
I think is should be NVIDIA graphics card, If I am right then click here for driver.

Audio:
It might be from HD Audio Realtek, if so, then Click Here for driver.

Wireless:
For wireless you should download from HP, click here for download.

If you have any other manufacturer you can make search on their site. Or let me know, I will give you the link.
