to save time, I would suggest switching calculators and also recommend using an online scientific calculator to reach your goal. If the manual for your device is bad, you can look into getting a new calculator. Thank you.

You can convert between Standard Form (with fractions and pi) or
Decimal form by using the "S<->D" button. Use Mode 1 if you
mostly prefer fraction answers and you can use the SD button to convert
to decimal or use Mode 2 if you mostly prefer decimal answers and use
the SD button to see the fraction. I hope this helps and good luck! Please remember to vote Thanks.
Hello, Since you bent on deactivating the very features that make your calculator so versatile and so powerful, here it is. Press [SHIFT][MODE][2:LineIO] and you will see no more fractions, nor radicals etc. You asked for it. Hope it helps.
Hello, To make sure that results are always in decimal format, put a decimal mark (point) at the end of one integer. ex: 1./2 or 1/2. or 1./2. display as 0.5, so does 1. + 1/2 To convert from decimal to fraction and from fraction to decimal press a b/c To convert from proper to improper fractions use [SHIFT][d/c] Hope it helps.
Press the S<>D key, (located right above "DEL"). This will shift the answer from fraction to decimal. This sounds like a pain but having both functions available can be a big plus.
There is a button there that says "S<=>D". Compute it first and when the result is in fraction, press this and it will be in decimals. This button is just above the DEL button.
