Why does my bluetooth keep turning off - Jabra Extreme2 Bluetooth Headset

Try this: turn off 'bluetooth' and 'device', then turn on 'bluetooth' and turn on device not to keep power button 2 sec., but keep 4- 5 sec. after 4- 5 sec. device turning on in pairing mode.

Hello, Easiest way to determine if bluetooth is on or not is in your system tray, The bottom right where the icons are, you will have the generic bluetooth icon (looks like a sideways infinity symbol with a blue oval) Keep in mind it is very dangerous to leave bluetooth on, and it kills your battery! When you get a message like that on any cellular device, smartphone or iPhone...its because your bluetooth device is experiencing errors internally, or either your bluetooth device is connected presently with another device and keep in mind that bluetooth can only connect to one device at a time; meaning that if your bluetooth device is connected presently to any other device, that connection should be terminated in order for bluetooth to be able to search and connect to a new device!


Before you take any of these steps make sure that you have your Bluetooth settings in your phone are set secure; make sure that if any device is trying to connect, would get your attention ( any connection attempted will be prompted on your phones screen) by doing so you will not have outsiders connection to your phone without your permission!


Solution = Turn off your cellular device, and turn it on again! If you're able to remove the battery and placing it again please do so but however some devices like iphones, batteries can not be accessed! ( with such devices, using the Power On/Off botton is good enough to reset the device ).
Power off your Bluetooth headset! ( Do not turn on your device yet)

make sure your bluetooth settings in your phone is not set to automatically connect to any other bluetooth enabled device!

after your phones reset, turn on the headset using the middle botton wich is the round botton, and hold until you get a solid light and make sure BLUETOOTH IS ENABLED AND DISCOVARABLE!

Ok.. you need to do the following:
1. Turn the headset off. 2. Turn on the Bluetooth on your iPhone (it will automatically start searching for Bluetooth devices) 3. Press and keep pressing the power button on your BH-105 Nokia Headset until you hear two sounds, the first is the one that notify's you that the Headset is turned on, keep pressing and you will hear another sound (like a beep), once you hear that second sound release the power button on the headset and voilaaa... your iPhone detected the Headset... Cheers...

just reload the software of your phone most probably it ll be fixed if not then u contact me again i ll give details of which hardware is defective

Turn on the bluetooth and select "Add New Device". Keep the button on your bluetooth headset pressed until the mobile searches the bluetooth headset.

I has the same situation like you but opposite event. My O2 XDA II or Siemens SX66 or even calls Qtek 9090 is another version with your O2 has sometime Bluetooth keeps turning on. I turn it off for few seconds, it is on again. I tried to solve th eproblem by get ito the setting area to turn it off and reset my PDA. My PDA has the area calls Wireless Manager. I click on all three function including phone, wi-fi, bluetooth and go out of wireless manager area and get into connection and click on Bluetooth and turn it on or off then only Bluetooth get effected. I don't know why but that is I found out my own way. Just play around these features by testing it the way I mentioned above. i hope this help. This feature is not stable in these type of models. You are not the only one. ALSO, TRY TO GET IT ON TO CONNECT WITH OTHER BLUETOOTH DEVICES TO HOW IT IS REACTED. Good Luck
