Check that you are playing the correct region coded discs for your player. Blu-Ray discs tend to be universal but not DVDs. If you are playing Region2 disc when the player is set for region 1 (American) then they won't play and again Vice Versa.

Check for a blown fuse in the power supply, If that does not do it then your unit has gone to Blu ray heaven. And U do not fix those units - u just replace them because the labor cost is prohibitive.
hi, may be of upgrading problem or all blue ray disc won't play in all players. if a blue ray plays on a blue ray player may will not work in another one and vise versa. not all the discs some one. ok
The most likely cause of your frustration with the BDP-S350 is that
your player's firmware is not the most current. I have the same model,
and had similar problems with newer Blue Ray Discs.
The solution is to go to sony's website, download the firmware upgrade, burn it to a disc and then load the disc into the player to fix it.
