My printer is giving me a message to refer to my printer documentation 0.61011bed and I can't print anything. Do you know what is wrong with it or how to fix it.

Brother mfc8460n stopped printing anything....no warning and no appearance of anything being wrong. I don't know where to look; have 2 documents in queue.

The first of those documents is probably corrupted and causing the printer to stop working. Delete all jobs from the queue, turn the printer off, then back on again and try a different document. If it works, then the document is corrupted and you need to try saving it in a different format before printing it again.

My printer does not print. I do not get any message either. What could be wrong? The toner lamp is illuminated, but the level should not be "too" low. Brother HL-2030.

Most of the time, this is caused by memory failure or when print command isn't responding. Suppose if you give a print command few hours back and it's wasn't printed successful, then the document to be printed should be in the print queue list. So, firstly check the print queue documents, and delete all the queues. in case you can't delete them, follow these steps, Start - Printers and Faxes - Double click your Printer Icon - Click on the Printer Tab - Select Cancel All Documents - Ok and close the dialog box and the printers and faxes window (note that your printer should be kept power On and connected to the Pc) Wait for few minutes and restart your system while you Power Off the printer. When the system boots up, also power on the printer and check if there's still the Print Queue. Now you can try printing documents if there's none, or you'd need to follow the same steps again. There are some more ways, but this solves most of the problem. So give it a try and let me know the result. Remember that your printer is connected properly to the Pc. Good luck.

I tried to print a document from internet, there is a message on my monitor telling me that J4680 is printing, but the hardware (printer) is not doing anything. I did run the Self-Test and the printer...

go to the printer page right click on the printer icon that shows the name of your printer
and select as default porinter
if there is any docements in the que try and cancel the documents and see if it gets deleted
again select teh printer as online
and go to the properties page and try to print a test page from teh printer and it should print
and if it does not print disconnect and reconnect teh USB cable from the back of the printer
and try again to print a test page from the printer and this should resolved the problem and still if nothing happens let us know the status and we will help you further with the issue .
BEST OF LUCK

I attempted to print a 25 page document, with reverse pages. Only 9 pages printed. I cannot print anything now. and the message on the printer reads, DATA REMAINING. I have pushed every button...

It seems the printer buffer memory has overflowed. Cancel the print from the print Que and switch off the printer. Give your PC a reboot too. Now switch on the printer and make sure that there is no document in the print Que. If its still there, disconnect the printer and delete the pending job, i.e. print Que. After the printer shows it ready for printing do not release the entire document for printing at one go. Breakup the print job in 3 parts and for each part manually enter the page numbers and then give the print command. Repeat this till the entire lot is over..........................sodeep

"490: MP tray is empty" message when trying to print labels from Word 2003

The MP tray referred to is the Multi Purpose tray and is located at the front of the printer. To access it, you need to find the 2 indentations at the side of the front feed assembly and pull them towards you. this then gives access to the MP tray. Don't forget to press the blue button after loading the paper. Your user guide/manual will give clear instructions and pictures. It may also be called manual feed tray. Once loaded with the correct paper press the online button and printing will start.

Document not printing

does the machine do a simple copy job without probs?
If so, the ph is ok. Do repair the mfl-pro suite then. If you run the machine thru a network a firewall update might have disconnected the machine from routing.
