1 Remove power from the Gateway. 2 Disconnect all your computers and the cable/DSL modem from the Gateway router. 3 Using a straight through Ethernet cable, connect the Ethernet Cable/DSL port on the rear of the Gateway to any one of the LAN ports. 4 Re-apply power to the Gateway. The Alert LED will flash as the Gateway starts up, and after approximately 30 seconds will start to flash more slowly (typically 2 seconds on, 2 seconds off). Once the Alert LED has started to flash slowly, remove power from the Gateway. 5 Remove the cable connecting the Cable/DSL port to the LAN port, and reconnect one of your computers to one of the Gateway LAN ports. 6 Re-apply power to the Gateway, and when the start-up sequence has completed, browse to: http://192.168.1.1 and run the configuration wizard. You may need to restart your computer before you attempt this. 7 When the configuration wizard has completed, you may reconnect your network as it was before

SOURCE: 4350 Small Network Access Point's web-based configuration tool

If it is trying to connect to the internet when trying to get to the tool, you have to get a direct link to the tool. You might find this on a forum somewhere. It might also help to update your firmware, this may solve your problem immediately. The only problem with routers is that they are built to connect to the internet. If you don't have the internet it is a tedious job to get access to your access points settings. Just get the link to the page and you should be able to change your settings then.

SOURCE: Repeater

That's not correct. I have the Belkin F5D7132 repeating wireless signal from Buffalo router encrypted with WEP 128 bit. The Belkin is a UNIVERSAL repeater, and should be able to repeat just about any Wifi signal. However, the "one touch" button will only work on unsecured networks, so is of limited use IMO. I had to manually configure it using the web interface, and ensure that the encryption method and key is identical to the Buffalo router I am repeating, but it does work fine.

How do I recover a forgotten password for an overdrivepro63E wireless internet stick

Wireless networking is a common feature in homes and offices.
Wireless routers provide access to a single Internet source, and wireless passwords ensure that only select users can access the network.
If a password is forgotten or lost, the password can be recovered or reset by accessing the router's Web-based settings menu.
Most wireless routers also have a reset button, which is capable of returning the router to its default settings which includes resetting the password.

Connect to your Wi-Fi or attach your computer directly to the router with an Ethernet cable.
Open your Web browser. Enter the default address of your router.
The default address is listed in your user manual or on the product website. Linksys and 3Com routers typically use "192.168.1.1" while Netgear routers use "192.168.0.1."
Enter your username and password.
Many routers use "admin" for the username and password by default.
Locate the wireless security settings.
Disable the wireless security.
Reset to Factory Defaults
Locate the reset button on your router.
Typically the reset button is a small indented hole on the back of the device.
Insert a long thin object such as a paperclip and hold down the reset button for 30 seconds to revert the router to its factory default settings.

I dont know wat is my username and password , then how can i change my network key

you might have to restore it to its facory settings

restore the factory default settings is to press in and hold the RESET button on the Wireless MAXg Router for between five and ten seconds.

You will lose all of your personal settings if you restore the factory default settings.

You might need to do this if you are unable to access the Web User Interface or have forgotten your password.

hope this helps

Wireless Computer Cant Connect to 3com router!

there's a few possibilities that might cause this problem.
First thing that comes to my mind is your wireless control access to the router's network.
In order to get through things here you need to get into the router's interface (http://192.168.2.1) using your password (default is admin), from their you need to get into wireless (b.t.w - I'm sorry if I'm not accurate here, I'm not in front of the router right now).
After getting into wireless you need to see if there's a control access tab in it (if not it might be in advances settings at the left main menu).

if it point to prevent... the problem is not about access control, otherwise you need to enter your MAC address in the table below, before putting any MAC address I will like you to tell me if it's on prevent or permit option.
