Hi there
Just a thought but you mention that your phone doesn't have SIM card in it. Surely the SIM card is the heart of the phone, rather like a CPU in a computer, and during the phone boot process it will stall at a certain point if it doesn't find a SIM card to connect it to a phone network, in your case boost mobile.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Cheers
You can't flash a CDMA phone(HTC EVO 4G LTE on Sprint(CDMA network) to a GSM network(Straight talk which is on T-Mobile's network(GSM network) the hardware is not interchangeable. A GSM SIM card is not the same as a 4G LTE SIM card(UUID) they store different data. GSM SIM hold your carrier account information that authorizes you to use the network while a UUID only hold data that is relevant to you accessing the 4G LTE part of the network the remainder of your carrier data is stored on the phone hardware.
The phone must be unlocked.
Then go to ATT or get a straight talk sim card for ATT towers.
Then open an account and assign the account to the sim card.
Stick the sim card in the phone and set the tower settings as required and you are online.
You just need a fresh sim card, linked to your account.
Straight Talk offers both CDMA and GSM support. HTC One X is a GSM phone. So you just need to unlock your HTC One X by IMEI and it will work with a Straight Talk SIM card. You should pay for a small price for an unlock code to a trusted HTC unlock service provider. http://www.htcimeiunlock.com/unlock-htc-one-x

You can Flash the Mobile from the Network lock using the Unlock code...Software Leads to Data Lose....But Unlock code is safe and secure none...You can use the Unlock code at reliable cost at here http://www.onlinegsmunlock.com/htc-evo-4g/rs7wp9/ and Unlock the HTC EVO 4G...then You cannot use the Boost Mobile..You can use Only GSM Network Sim Card like T-Mobile,AT&T network....Boost is CDMA Network so you cannot use....
