SOURCE: Series 70 prob: Recently started wrapping clothes around agitator
some fabrics are known to do that you have on wrong cycle setting there should be a setting for delicates and clothing and blankets and things when loaded to close to agitator will attract each other together so its wise when loading machine load in a circle leveled out till desired fullness away from agitator they shouldnt attract as much
SOURCE: Kenmore 90 tub spins excessively clockwise during wash cycle.
Improperly installed thrust bearing kit. Too many washers cause the basket to spin during agitation.

SOURCE: Amana washing machine makes loud noice when trying to spin
sounds like you are dealing with the same problem as me .
take off the front panel (after unplugging power) take a flash lite and look at the large pulley at the back just below the pulley is the helix check to see if they are worn .

turn the machine over &inspect the belt.Get the make n model # of it &go to an appliance shop give them the #'s and take machine &prop it against the wall on a tilt &loosen the bolts that hold the pump on REMEMBERING where they go loook at the way the belt is positioned &put&match the new belt where it goes, its like a figure 8 around this place &around that place &carefully take the old belt off &attach it and then but the belt on the pump that u took off &take a bar &tighten the slack up on the pump.Install the boths and there u go try it and let me know. I did it once with a Maytag washer when I was 8 months pregnant and The washer is doing just fine.
