First, I'm not a Pasquini tech, but I have worked on several similar brands.
* Most Semi-automatic machines will usually have the program button on the same as the stop button. Some will program all the groups at once or can be individually set up for different pours (shots)
* Holding down the program or stop button for 5-10 seconds will activate the program mode. Note that if you don't press any dosing buttons after 5-10 seconds the program mode will revert to normal mode. Some may cancel out the previous dose set up.
* Before starting, determine what you want a shot to look like. 1 oz, 1.5 oz, 2 oz., etc.
* Set up your portafilter with ground coffee. DONOT change the grind size once your satisfied with the QUALITY of pour (don't confuse this with the amount of the dose. This is handled with the programing of dose water.) Water is absorbed by the grounds depending on the grind size and some times the amount. Pods are different from loose ground coffee too.
* Load up portafilter and place measuring cup(s) under spout(s).
* Press program button and hold for 5-10 seconds. The button will light and stay on (some blink).
* Press the dose button for the appropriate portafilter you have mounted. The pasquini requires you to press the stop/program button once you have achived the desired dose. Other brands require the dose button to be press and held down until the amount of dose water is reached. Letting go button logs the amount in but only after pressing the stop button does it set.
* For other brands, you may need to set up all buttons prior to pressing the program/stop button to confirm dosing of all buttons.
* Remember to keep reloading fresh coffee grounds in the portafilter for each adjustment. Used (wet) coffee will throw out the water dose calibration.

PS; I found a good video from Whole Latte Love site:

* You will need to program groups again.
* I'm surprised I did not record and upload a programing video *sigh*
Oh well, somebody did it already:(check at 3:57 on the following vid) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-3SbS-PU4Y
* Set up each shot with a filled portafilter (for the appropriate dose setting. Single for single, double for double, etc.)
* Press and hold "Stop" button till it light (and/or beeps). Release stop button
* press and HOLD the appropriate dose button (within 5 seconds or it cancels out)
* Watch the coffee dose as it pours out into cup or a shot glass (for accuracy)
* Release the dose button just before it hits the desired amount. You may have to do this several times to practice.
* Continue with setting the dose on the other settings (long, double, etc.)
* Note; you can set the "least used group" as in a 3 or 4 group head machine with specialty doses. Like a triple if you have the proper portafilter for this shot. Or an "American" long shot (though I don't recommend running 6-8 oz of water through a single coffee dose. Though I have found some shops using drip coffee through a triple basket and very long dose to fill mugs. They didn't want to get a regular 12 cup brewer.)
* There are other dosing tricks like copy over to other groups. But I've found that setting each group and dose is good practice. (and I have to do it several times a day as a Espresso Tech.)

Hello, you will have to press and hold the Resume button for at least 10 seconds. If that dose not work press and hold for at least 10 seconds the OK button. It will by pass the ink level counter and you will be able to use your printer.
I have a ip2600 that has had the waste ink absorber msg come up twice. After trying several recommended fixes involving pressing the Resume key twice then 4 times, etc., I've found the perfect solution. Start by cleaning the waste pads with tweezers, etc. 1. Press Power Off 2. Disconnect Power Cord 3. At SAME TIME, Press & HOLD Power Key while re-connecting Power cord 4. Release the Power button 5. Press the power button again This will work!
