Either your friends are playing with you or they have no idea at all what they are talking about. There is no such thing as a re-torque of the valves. The valves are not screwed or bolted in place. How can you torque a screw or bolt that does not exist? The valve gap , aka valve lash, may need to be reset but no torque on the valves is possible. If resetting the valves, set the gap at .006 intake and .011 exhaust. There will be a lock nut, (not shown in diagram), on each of the adjuster screws. Your bike has two exhaust valves and two intake valves per cylinder.
Did you line up the dot on tire with the valve stem ? if not break tire down and line up bal dot and re bal. If it is taking alot of weight try relocating tire on wheel until you find a better bal position that dont require alot of weight.
I have had new tires cause wobble , spin tire on bike and check for wobble in new tire.
With my 4 runner, I had the same problem. All I needed to do was use a phillips head screw driver and tighten up a screw that is underneath the mirror housing. i.e. there is a screw hole on under side of the hosing for the mirror. Find that hole and tighten (it may seem tight already, but just give it a little bit more torque and see if that helps)
The two Wheels must be in line to each other, has one of the wheels moved? Does the missing screw clamp the wheel to the shaft? If yes you MUST replace the screw.
Just a tip, you can avoid this problem in future, by using an impact driver, not expensive, and sold at most automotive stores, halfords, roadrunner etc. It impacts the stud, and twists at the same time, avoiding shredding the surface. It may still work on your stripped screw, if there is still some grip. It's a common problem on both the discs, and rear hubs on freelanders.
I fastened my wife's washer to the wall with heavy wire inserted into 4 pieces of rubber attached to the wall and the wash machine. Rubber stoppers about one inch in diameter are held in place on the back of the washer about four inches below the top with copper pipe fasteners used to attach pipe to wood. These are on the back near each side and the ones on the wall are in matching locations. I used a 4" wide board on the wall so the screws could go into the studs and the stoppers could go where they were needed without concern about studs. The two pieces of heavy wire (not easily bent by hand) is bent into a U shape with a flat bottom and short legs. The width of the U depends on how far your machine is from the wall. The wire legs 2 - 4" long are then inserted down into the rubber with the bottom of the U upwards. Wherever you drill to attach the stoppers on the machine be sure to avoid any wires or mechanical components and I attached them near the top for ease of removal for maintenance-- which should be seldom. This solution has held my machine in place quietly for the last seven + years.
put the front tires on the back and see if it changes.
alot of times,if the suspension is defective it wears the tires uneven ,out of round.
check and make sure the wheel nuts are tight and torqued properly.
alot of techs use just the gun,and not a torque stick and overtighten the wheel nuts.
check the pulley if it wobbles alot replac it. or,
bolt may be comeing loose
put red locktight on the bolt adn torque it to 76 foot pounds
rank my solution &vote
If it feels as though it wobbles, a likely problem is that the screws have not been fully tightened. They may feel tight, but give them all one good torque turn or two, until you cant anymore, pretty much. It should solve most of the wobble.
