Was the board exactly the same as the one you took off? Even if it was go back and check your wiring. That would be the first place to look since the board was all that was changed.

SOURCE: AC unit outside blowing out cold air, vents

If you have a heat pump probably there's a wrong connectionin the thermostat, but if is not a heat pump ,the compresor is not working or the unit leaked all the refrigerant.

Check to see if your compressor is running. Thre are 5/16 screws on either side of the unit holding it to the case. Take those out and you can get to the cpmpressor. These are not complicated units but you may have to have a service tech look at it for you. I do sell a lot of these PTAC units so if your compressor is running you have leak or bad compressor. Russ

Sounds like you have a problem upon start up of heat. Your safteys maybe shutting you down, and restting voltage to your curcuit board allows you to have another heating cycle. Honestly you may due justice calling a tech.

PTAC Blows Cold Air in Heating Mode when it reaches -3F less than the Set Value on the Thermostat - Model: AZ65H15DABW6

It sounds like your PTAC (packaged terminal air conditioner) unit is malfunctioning. When the thermostat is set to heating mode, the PTAC should be blowing warm air, not cold air. There are a few possible causes for this issue:
  1. The PTAC may be low on refrigerant. If the unit is low on refrigerant, it may not be able to properly heat the air.
  2. The PTAC's reversing valve may be stuck in the cooling position. The reversing valve is responsible for switching the flow of refrigerant between heating and cooling mode. If it is stuck in the cooling position, the PTAC will blow cold air even when the thermostat is set to heating mode.
  3. The PTAC's heating element may be malfunctioning. If the heating element is not functioning properly, the PTAC will not be able to heat the air.
I recommend contacting a trained HVAC technician to diagnose and fix the issue with your PTAC. They will be able to determine the cause of the problem and repair it properly.

I have amana ptac that blows warm air, and one part blow cold air. no error codes

How are you determining that one section.is cold and one warm? If this is in fact the case you have a blockage in the coil or a compressor that is down provided this is a multi compressor unit.

Amana Wall unit blows cold air before heating

The cold that you describe may be just unconditioned air? If you are certain you can hear the comp operating for a couple of minutes, and then the heat starts, I would guess it is a reversing valve issue if it's a heat pump and it probably is. Or the control board acting up. I've had a lot of issues with the boards in the Amanda PTAC units. I can't remember how to configure it, but if you Google "Amanda ptac configuration", there is a lot of info online. May try a reset method first. Hope this helps!

I have a 2000 pontiac grand prix with a digital climate control system. The heat quit working, it doesn't blow out any heat. Now that it is warm outside the air stopped blowing out any air. The digital temperature on the climate control is not correct. When it states that it is below 30 degrees on the ext and it is warm outside the air wont be cold. Once it starts going above 30 degrees the air gets colder. Today the blower stop working all together. Was told it maybe the climate control unit was bad. You can hear the door opening/shutting when you switch the temp from cold to hot. But there was no heat blowing out whatsoever in the winter time. Could you please give me your opinion on whether or not it is the climate control unit or something else?

you didn't say what zone you're in but if you're north of southwest missouri you can forget about anything seeming warm below 30 degrees outside i tell all my customers to switch to emergency heat when temp's get below 25 for extended periods of time 2 days - weeks. either way you're at the mercy of the utility company on emergency heat you get hot heat and faster results heat pumps out of the box can only give you what they can generater from outside temperatures 35-55 they work great giving better than 3 to 1 but that falls off drastically when the temperature plunges
