Date changes wrong time

If I set the date on my casio watch during the AM (pull knob one click and rotate), the date rolls over at noon, if I set the date in the afternoon, the date will not roll over until the next noon. How can I sync to midnight?

Thats because analog watches don't know the difference between AM/PM. First reset the time, moving the hour and minute hands another 12 hours will let you know exactly what mode its in (am/pm) first allowing you to set the date correctly.

I will add some clarification. When the hands pass 12 and the date changes this is midnight or 12 "am". When the hands pass 12 and the date does 'not' change, this is noon. A foolproof method to set the date is to start with the date set to yesterday's date.
Do this with the crown pulled out to the first position. Now pull the crown out to the second position and advance the hands until the date changes. This will be midnight . Continuing to advance the hands you will see the date change to the correct date. Now advance the hands to the correct time. Remember that the date changing occurred at midnight so if it is afternoon you will have to advance the hands past 12 (note the date did not change) and stop at the correct time. Now evernight at midnight the date will change. Sounds more difficult than it is. Try it!

Simple way----> Just rotate and forward the clock 12 hours from current time (after rotation of hands you will get current time again!!), so that I it will change the date today night.

My Casio digital watch changes the date at 12 noon rather than at midnight. The model is 5479. How can I solve this issue?

Time is not set correctly. You set the time as AM instead of PM and vice versa. Use the following manual to set time correctly.

How to change the date in edifice EF - 550

To change the date on the Edifice Casio wristwatch pull out the knob to set time only half way - not fully otherwise you can change the time only. Then rotate the knob ANTI clockwise until you reach the desired date and push back the knob fully to return to normal

I need to change the date

Changing the date for the FT500WVB watch is easy. Just pull out the stem of the watch to its first stop. Then turn the stem counter clockwise a couple of twists and the displayed date will increment (that is increase) by one day and you will hear a little click. Keep twisting the stem counterclockwise and the date will increase by one each time with a little click. Stop when you reach the correct date and push the stem back in to its fully seated rest position. Note- be careful not to change the date when the watch displays a time between 9pm and 1 am as setting the date in this time range may cause the watch to increment the date at noon rather than midnight.

Note also that if you want to set the time you just pull out the stem to its second stop position and twist the stem to advance the position of the hands of the watch. Then when the time is set, push the stem back in to its lowest rest position. So remember- first stem stop sets the date and second stem stop sets the time. That's it.

I cant set the date on my casio MW600 ,I need to no

I think you pull out the knob (on the right) HALFWAY and then rotate clockwise. If you pull out all the way, you can only adjust the time (watch hands).

I have casio Edifice E-546. The date changes at 12pm instead of 12am everyday. Can someone help/

mcdevito75 here, Many Casio Watch Models out there, I'll bet however your Casio is displaying say 1 AM rather than 1 PM as it should if the time is indeed PM after 12 noon, if so, this is why the date is changeing at 12 PM rather than, 12 AM simply re-set your casio and make sure the time of day is set at PM for time after 12 noon and AM for time anywhere before 12 NOON. Also, as you set your Casio, look for anything that may give the hint of Military time, this may be revilled as 12 hours or 24 hours, if you have anything like this, make sure it's set for 24 hours. If you have additional problems, visit a small watch repair shop in your area. Again there are many, many Casio models out there and without your watch with me it's difficult to be more accurate.

Hello there, how do i set the hr and minute hands on my watch.the digital clock is fine. thankyou Colin

For that I need to know how many buttons you have on your right side of the watch. Anyways this is the solution in case you have just one knotch on the right side of your watch. Slowly pull out the round knob on the right side of your watch. It comes out in two stages (in case your watch has date also) or else just one pull will be there. After pulling the knob out you can rotate and set the time and then push it back. your time is set.

How do i set date and time

NOTE: NEVER EVER set the date between 7pm and 2am or you will damage the watch!! The crown is screwed down to make it waterproof. Start by unscrewing the crown by turning it counter-clockwise until it pops out slightly. That is position '1' which is used for winding. Pull it out two more clicks to position '3' and set the time by turning the crown clockwise. Turn it past midnight at which point you will see the date change and continue turning till you get to the right time. If you're setting the time to a point after noon, be sure to go all the way past 12 noon before setting the time or the date will change at noon instead of midnight. If the time is before 7pm push the crown in to position '2' and turn it to set the date. When you are finished push the crown all the way in and turn it clockwise to screw it down.

My rolex submariner keeps having the wrong date on it. when it turns midnight it stays on the old date and i switch it to the correct one. but when noon rolls around it switches to the day ahead and i once...

There isn;t any downloadable manuals for Rolex watches, but operation of Rolex is very simple:
1) when you unscrew the crown, it is in winding position,
2) when you pull out the crown to the first click, it is in day and date setting position (depending wich way you turn the crown).
NOTE: to adjust the day or date, previously you have to advance hands forward, passing 12 o'clock (midnight) mark and stop advancing at 4.00 a.m. using the crown in position as described in chapter 3. When done - push the crown fully in, then pull out to the first click and only then adjust the day or date.
3) when you pull the crown further out to the second click, it is in time setting position.
To find the daytime or night time on the watch: pull out crown to the second click and advance watch hands forward till you pass the 12 mark on dial. If the date changes as you pass it - it is the night time (midnight). If the date do not change as you pass it - it is the daytime (noon).
After all settings being done, allways screw the crown back down as it protects the watch from water and moisture.
Never use watch in sauna- it's not designed for that.
Do not forget to rate, please.

HOW TO CHANGE DATE

The Skagen watches have  two-step stem; fully pulled out will change the time and partially pulled out will change the date (only goes one way so try turning it counter-clockwise or clockwise - I forget which is correct).  It's easier to find the date length by extending it all the way and then go back toward the case.  It won't change the date if you run it through a 24-hour cycle - you have to do the half-way thing.  Hope this helps.
