If you take your time and remove the worm drive, carefully, then the order of installation is reverse for getting it back together. Remember to take your time and keep your cool and put all the parts back. If you have left over parts you did something wrong.
Also your local library may have the manual for your machine. Good luck

if you are standing at the handles of the snow blower , kneel down there should be a sticker on the drive cover between the wheels , hope that helps

Yes, most spindles come with non threaded holes. The metal is soft and you can just use regular bolts. Once you start them, they cut their own threads.
