SOURCE: stove trips breaker

Begin by unplugging the pellet stove and using an extension cord, plug the pellet stove into a different circuit, with a different breaker. It is possible that the breaker itself is faulty. If you prove that the problem is in the breaker, replace it. If the new circuit also trips, then you will have to assume that the stove cord, or the stove mechanism is faulty and either repair or replace it. good luck with it. let me know.

SOURCE: purchased a used earth stove mp240 pellet stove

The auger motor is fed through a high temp. limit thermostat. It has a manual reset on the back of it that you have to press on firmly to reset it. Open the side panel on the stove and find the wiring. You will see the thermostat on the back side of the combustion chamber. Look very closely and reset it.
good luck!

SOURCE: I have an Afton bay pellet stove .Its about 2

Possibly the fan motor is seized. Have you had a look at it? if you do, unplug the unit and turn the squirrel cage on that fan by hand. If it does not turn than it has seized. You might be able to squirt some dry lube(silicon) into motor shaft bearings to unsieze it. Otherwise the Mfr can sell you a fan.

Can I run wood pellets in my snow flame 1100 I just bought this stove used and I need to know if I can run wood pellets in it or Corn

From their website
https://snowflamepelletstoves.com/
Our multi-fuel pellet stoves can burn dried wheat, corn or wood pellets. Multi-fuel stoves, unlike just wood pellet stoves, are the first heating option that allows you to burn all three environmentally friendly fuels in the same stove. The Environmental Protection Agency rates multi-fuel stoves as the most energy efficient stoves available.

I have a ussc pellet stove 5500m switch off error code number 6 saying the fuse is blown but check in fuses good stove will shut off

Err6 The Ignitor output fuse has blown ā€¢ Ignitor shorted out or bad.

The machine sense only knows the ignitor circuit is open. Both a blown (open) ignitor fuse and bad (open) ignitor present code 6. Likely the ignitor is open(bad). Re-check fuse first.

Remove fuse and test fuse with an ohm meter... do not guess by just looking at it. If fuse is not open then likely the ignitor is open (blown). To verify ignitor, disconnect ignitor and test with ohm meter, likely it is infinite (open).

If both fuse and ignitor test good (not open), then control board is suspect... further testing required.

The auger on my Englander pellet stove stopped working. We replaced the auger motor. That apparently wasnā€™t the problem. Now weā€™ve changed the vacuum sensor still not working. Any ideas?

There is some part that is bad, I suggest before you continue replacing parts that you check the dealer for service recommendations. There is probably a master control board that has a failed component.

Harman pellet stove blower not coming on. All lights are on and not blinking.

well im not sure why a pellet stove question is here in the pool section , but I do own a pellet stove (and a few pools too) SO I can offer one thing to look for , there is a small switch on the side of your burn chamber (soup can looking thing) this switch is what controls your fan to come on . it works by sensing heat from burn chamber and then turning power on to fan , its possible this isn't passing any power on yours ?

Auger not working on Blaze King Pellet Stove

depending on how the manufacturer set up the system, there may be pellets wedging the auger. most augers are geared low enough to snap the pellet but if its something else blocking it (stick or rock etc) it may have blown a fuse for the auger drive or the drive mechanism itself. if you are going to work on the auger. UNPLUG THE STOVE AND USE TOOLS TO CLEAR BLOCKAGE as there may still be some pressure to spin auger

Harman P68 pellet stove glass fuse blows after 1 minute.

You can do some troubleshooting by looking at the glass fuse after it has failed. If the element looks melted and there is no other discoloration, then the fuse probably blew as a result of an overload somewhere. If the fuse is burned black, then it's probably a short in the system.

You can meter the motors to see if they are shorted anywhere or open.

It sounds like you may be correct about the circuit board.

Pelpro pellet stove will not start. Press the start button, igniter button lights up but nothing happens.

Is the auger light coming on to and dropping pellets into the burn pot? If the auger light is not coming on, you probably have an issue with the board controlling it. If the auger light is coming on, and pellets are dropping into the burn pot and it is still not lighting, then you have only a few other possible problems.
1. The air damper is not allowing enough air in, so pull the damper rod out 1/8" increments until it lights.
2. Your ignitor is faulty and not producing enough heat to light the stove. You can either contact a local dealer and get a replacement ignitor, or you can manually light the stove with a special firestarting gel made for pellete stoves. When you press the start button look into the burn pot. If the ignitor isn't bright orange, you aren't getting enough heat from it.

Hope this helps...good luck.
