What is error 33 e associated with? It refers to the heater of the water intake pipe of the ice machine. It is found in Side-by-side refrigerators.

33e is the icemaker fill tube heater error. It keeps the tube slightly warm to prevent it from freezing. You would need to remove the icemaker and there is a 1/2" or a 5/8" tube with I believe a yellow wire wrapped around it. That is the heater. Without a model# I can't be of more help
The 33E error can indicate a problem with the ice maker water fill tube heater. (This makes sure that ice doesn't form and cause the fill tube to break.) To attempt to reset the error, press and hold the Energy Saver and Lighting keys on the touch pad for 8+ seconds. These are the top buttons on each side of the temperature display.
That sounds like a power glitch. Try pressing and holding the power freeze and power cool buttons at the same time for about 8 to 13 seconds and see if it clears.
If that doesn't do it, let me know and I'll dig up the Fast Track on it.
I was looking for a reset of 33e on a samsung RFG298HDRS, no luck all the advice didn't work for me I tried them all and then started my own combinations, holding down energy saver and lighting button for about 10 seconds worked the error code went a way and the refrigerator panel started working again.. I hope this will help someone.
