Hoy can I repair the light on a Kettle they have stopped working

may as well keep using the kettle if it works..sans light, or buy a new one as the lights cannot be repaired.

What a crazy over-complicated kettle!
Disc element kettles do tend to have a limited life that is a small fraction of the lifespan of standard kettle elements. The ones I have had usually only last until the guarantee has expired. To discover whether it is the kettle or the base it will be necessary to use a multimeter to check the supply from the base.

2: AND PARKING LAMPS. that can be dimmed....
3: and gauges they too use CLuster power so....

your car electronic tech, would see all this in 5 minutes work , I say let them'! not me im retired.
A primary test, for power.... (works key off too)

also modern cars with lots of computers!
they all go very crazy, with low battery voltage.
use a thing called a voltmeter to check system volteges. battery is 12.6vdc rested.
even the $10 walfart, meter works. here. prefect.

and running, 13.3 to 15vdc good. is it?

There is nothing on any vehicle other than an oil

I would think you have checked for codes,
since you mentioned abs
What do the code charts tell you?
Should you be diagnosing that system
for failure,or was they some out of range
thing that caused the light to blink,stay on,codes
or no codes. eg: One time event
You will have stored events, if you look at enhanced
data on a professional scan tool
Can't reset things to make your light go away
If you clear ANY MIL Lamp you remove the data
your or a shop will need to work on the issues

you have an high end kettle that will fail the temp sensor certainly has that's why it only stays on for a few seconds to a minuet, they are not made so they can be repaired.permanent bonded thermostats. micro processor etc all none repairable, any water getting to any part on this brand will make it not work correctly..

When this happens usually it indicates that there is current "leakage" in the electronics. You need to stop using this unit, as it is possible to receive an electric shock, well a small chance but? Either contemplate repair? I doubt this is an economic repair? better yet, or throw it away, cut the cord OFF/Disable it, if you do so. NEVER muck around with anything electrical that is suspect EVER.

No! you have clearly a manufacture defect or a design issue, I would take it back and select a different brand if possible or your money back.

OK, inside the unit there are three items, the heating element, thermostat, and thermal fuse.What has happened is the element got too hot and the thermal fuse opened.There is no reset button.In some cases you may run across a defective heating element or thermostat but its not common.The fix would probably be replacement of the thermostat and thermal fuse.For this, you would have to contact a small appliance repair center in your area.
